Learn technique and theory, read music, hone your listening skills, play repertoire across classical and contemporary genres, or refresh skills you have already built. I hope to bring out each budding pianist's love of music and foster creativity while establishing a solid foundation.
About me musically: I studied piano with James Giles at Northwestern University and solo/duo piano with Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem. My specialty is in classical, Baroque, and contemporary music, and I've performed in chamber, orchestral, choral, and duo settings as a pianist, violist, and vocalist. Favorite pianist? Martha Argerich, though I have yet to see her.
